Mission of Clinical Laboratory Science
The mission of the Clinical Laboratory Science Journal is to advance the field of clinical laboratory science by providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge and innovations in laboratory medicine. We are dedicated to supporting medical laboratory scientists, educators, clinical science researchers, and other healthcare team members through the publication of high-quality, peer-reviewed content.Our goal is to improve laboratory science practices and healthcare by disseminating cutting-edge research, educational resources, and best practices that contribute to the improvement of patient care.
The Clinical Laboratory Science Journal is a service of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and is published quarterly.

Subscriptions may be purchased directly from ASCLS via the online membership application. Professional membership includes a subscription to Clinical Laboratory Science. Individual and institutional subscriptions may be purchased using the same form. Annual Professional membership dues for ASCLS are $96, $40 of which is allocated to a subscription of CLS. The cost of single copies is $18. Requests to replace missing issues free of charge are honored up to six months after the date of issue.
